I am a senior in journalism at Southern Illinois University. This is my first web-site and I intend to further my knowledge in the subject once I become more familiar with site building.

I have set up this web site for the requirement of a class but will also use it as an opportunity to showcase my career achievements and accomplishments in College.

One of these achievements is my participation in the McNair scholars program and various clubs on campus such as B.LA.C.K (Black Leaders Actively Communicating Knowledge), A.S.C. (African Student Council).

I have been to Africa, (Nigeria to be exact) and visiting places like that makes me realize how important it is to achieve success overseas because I can make a change in those places with education.

After graduation I hope to get a full time position at a successful news company. I am interested in any type of entertainment or feature news agency and intend to be an entertainment correspondent for any broadcasting company.
